BOY SCOUT TROOP 801

Welcome to the official home page of Troop 801.   We hope you will enjoy your visit with us and come back often.

Troop 801 is a "Boy Led" unit and you decide which way to do.

The experienced scouts who have earned positions of leadership in the troop plan the meetings, select the outings, and teach the newer boys what it means to be a Boy Scout.

We were chartered in Brea on February 1, 1971 and have operated continually since then.  Our Troop 801 chartering organization is the Kiwanis Club of Brea.

Joshua Tree Campout
January 17, 2009

This is a "drive-in" campout. There will be many opportunities for hiking, stargazing, relaxation time at camp, and time to work on scouting skills activities. While this is a drive-in type outing, we will be making stops through the park as we drive to the campsite on Saturday. Also, there will be one day away from our base camp for a day hike to Lost Palms Oasis. This hike will be about 10 miles.

Snow Camp
February 28, 2009

Ever built an igloo or went hiking in snow shoes?  This outing is for all scouts.  More information to come.
